Dermot began Lyons Group in 1994 having studied electronic engineering at the now Waterford Institute of Technology. Over his many years in business, he has continued his business interests, as well as completing courses in relating to each of these business interests. He holds a manager CPC in International Haulage, has a national certificate in project management and has certified as a trainer for various Health & Safety elements of the companies business interests.
Dermot is a hands-on Managing Director and continually strives and pushes the companies for the betterment of the all Lyons Group companies.
Stephen joined Lyons Group in 2015 as Operations Director having amassed almost 30 years experience on commercial, industrial and domestic building sites across Ireland and England. Firstly as a worker and then as a supervisor, and finally as a contracts manager responsible for numerous sites. In addition to his experience and personal business interests, Stephens joining the company added an additional tier and skill set that has helped the business progress and expand to the business it is today.
